Experience still life art in a whole new dimension at our immersive workshop, set within our current exhibition 'Anticipation.' Unlike our traditional studio sessions, this unique workshop invites you to draw inspiration directly from the exhibited works whilst creating your own still life compositions. Explore how the tension of anticipation can be captured in seemingly static objects, inspired by the tension of inner city living, brutalist architecture, and exploring the inverse power structure of nature triumphing over human creations. Our tutor will guide you in techniques to convey suspense and expectancy through shadow, composition, and perspective. Perfect for both beginners and experienced artists looking to push their creative boundaries.
All materials will be provided, though you're welcome to bring your own if preferred. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.
